Marimba Cabaret is an evening of songs and stories. This month, Greg & Brian undergo therapy in front of a live audience. Guaranteed to include new songs and feature three(!) special guest singers: Christina English, Sophie Michaux, and Sonja Tengblad (pictured below). These lovely ladies are known around the country as soloists and members of the fabulous Lorelei Ensemble.

"What’s a marimba?" It's like a xylophone, but bigger and more fabulous -- just like Brian. One Thursday a month, enjoy dinner and a show at South End's Club Cafe! Dinner & drink service available. Tickets available online.

About Marimba Cabaret

See what happens when a classically-trained percussionist with a love of musical theater (and killer shoes) puts on a show. Brian Calhoon’s Marimba Cabaret brings together years of training and passion in an evening of theater tunes, art song, and pop covers performed on marimba, vibraphone, and voice.

This month, hear a range of covers from Imogen Heap to Edith Piaf, Stephen Sondheimand more with new songs and surprises at every show. There’s something for everyone in this eclectic evening of songs and stories. Directed and accompanied by percussionist Greg Jukes, Brian will sing, play, and (at times) stand 7-feet tall in Club Cafe's Moonshine Room.

This show will feature special guest singers Sonja Tengblad, Sophie Michaux, and Christina English.
